Pianist Justin Sherburn and cellist Sara Nelson of Montopolis are currently booking their live score to the classic French children's film, The Red Balloon. The movie has been a popular presentation in schools and libraries for decades and is now made even more exciting with an original musical score performed live. The Red Balloon is 35 minutes long and can be combined with a selection of classic silent films by Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin to make for a great afternoon of entertainment for children and adults.
Montopolis can provide the PA and projection equipment for this event for audiences up to 400.

Justin and Sara are the heart and soul of the multimedia performance group called Montopolis.
Before composing his live soundtracks for the group, Justin toured internationally with the renowned rock band Okkervil River and jazz band 8 1/2 Souvenirs, performing with greats such as Wille Nelson and Wilco.
Cellist Sara Nelson performs regularly with the Austin Symphony, Austin Ballet, and Austin Lyric Opera as well as playing with world-renowned artists such as Stevie Wonder, Lyle Lovett, and Terry Bozzio. A founding member of the Tosca String Quartet, she recorded and toured with icon David Byrne for several years. Her cello work has been featured in films such as “Waking Life” and the TV series “From Dusk Til Dawn”.
